WOW
That's almost $500 shipped...

They do have some cool stuff though; I purchased a set of hup caps from them.

I know some folks will do an oil change as early as 200 miles… In my personal opinion, it’s not needed that soon. I would say 500 miles for the 1st one. It is a pretty easy job, even with very little mechanical “know-how”. I would recommend searching you tube for “scooter oil change”. I don’t think ...

On sort of a side note... When mounting my new tires, I noticed that my 4T Stella has different sized lug stud nuts... The front had 10mm nuts and the rear had 12mm nuts (if I remember correctly). Thought that that was kind of weird. Is this normal... or do I have a "Special Edition" :D .....

Oh... gotcha. Sorry, can't help you there.
I can tell you that the learning curve is pretty quick. I had been riding motorcycles for almost 20 years when I bought my Stella and I about killed myself on the way home :D .... By the end of the week, I felt like I had been riding it for years.

"I notice that shifting is a bit "clunky" from 1st to 2nd gear, and 2nd to 1st. Is it just my Stella, or are they all like this? It feels like Neutral is its own "full click" between 1st and 2nd, and I seem to keep shifting into neutral when I want to remain in gear. "...

Agree with Drum Pro...
Only parts I ever grab are the grips; for some reason I wind up in between 1st and neutral a lot of the times when I kill it, so when I pull back I wind up dropping it into first and get hung up. Just roll the shifter forward a little and pull again.

Congrats on finally getting your Stella...
I have done that on both my 2T and 4T more times than I can count (often I roll it into 1st gear while putting it on the stand) and it has never caused a problem.

Thanks... I thought about that, but I'd have to enlarge one of the crest holes to 3/8" to bolt it on and I'd be left with the 2nd exposed hole. Plus, I'm not sure how well this resin shift knob is going to hold up. I wound up buying an aluminum crest and bolted it to that. This way if it winds ...

Probably right... I'm not hatin' the tan seat for the time being though. Happen to know off the top of your head if the 2T and 4T seats are the same? Well, the gear shift knob converted into a hood ornament without a hitch. I know it's a little (or maybe a lot) ridiculous, but I'm pretty happy with ...

The hubcaps should work with these clips that hold them on with outward pressure. There are 5 on each wheel (one on each lug stud). Looking at these hubcaps, I think they might work… I’m hoping so, cause I like the looks of these moon caps and they are about 1/3 of the cost of hubcaps made for scoot...

Rims, Tires, Tubes, Moon Hubcaps...Check. Waiting on Clips..

I have no patience... Trying to give my Stella a "Hot Rod" feel with the typical red rims and white wall tires. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these VW hubcaps will work with these rims. I ordered some hubcap clips from ScootRS.com about three weeks ago, but they still haven't show up...

Rear Luggage Rack... 2Ts won't work on 4Ts??

I really like the looks of this fixed rear luggage rack with grip rails for the 2 strokes. Personally, I don't care for backrests... but this would be perfrect for hauling larger items and would give my wife something to hold on to if she's ever on the back (she's usually on her own Vino). Can anyon...

So, no chrome flywheel covers for the 4T?

Am I missing it... or is there no chrome flywheel cover for the 4T? I've searched using every phrase I can think of, but I can't find a chrome flywheel cover similar to the ones for the 2Ts (granted, it would be quite a bit bigger). If I am missing it, would someone shoot me a link? Thanks....

I don't see any advantage of it being on there once the scooter's been purchased. There's a sticker and "engraving " inside the glove box. I've heard someone mentioning leaving it on in case it's ever stolen....but I'm assuming the thief would just wind up taking it off.

Back on a Stella - First Post

For money reasons... I had to part with my old Tangerine 2T a few years ago. While hunting for a used 2T (unsuccessfully) a month ago, I came across this 2012 Black Stella at a local shop. It was still in the crate when I went to go look at it, but they priced it right and I bought her as she sat. I...
