I talked my buddy into buying a used Blur 220i last year. He paid $1200 for it with 3,000 miles. I paid 4k new in 2013. Both are 2013's. We just blast around town with them. So much fun. I'm not really into running errands on it, when I suit up I don't like to stop. Maybe one time for lunch but that...

I drove a BV350 bran new last year. I took it for a long ride. So long the salesman was worried when I returned. I truly did not like it as much as my Blur 220i. Sure it had more power but the handling and sportiness just was not there. The 220i just feels so good. The Blur is not a highway cruiser ...

I love my Blur 220i but Its too light for the highway. I did a long test drove on a new BV350 but it wasn't as much fun as my Blur. If someone gave me the BV and I still had my Blur I would never ride the BV.

Mine does the same thing. Change your plug if it has 1500 miles. Reset the computer often also. I do it every other ride. Unhooking the battery is probably not needed.

Its Blur time in Denver

Been in the 70's in Denver and Ive been riding daily. Ive had a shake on takeoff so I replaced the rollers back to the new stock ones I replaced 1,600 miles ago. I also sanded the glazed clutch linings in the transmission hub. Smooth takeoff now.

You have to remove the seat the hole doesnt line up. Its not really an idle screw like a carb bike would have. Its a fuel injection throttle position screw. You have to experiment with it. First turn it in or out very slightly like and eighth turn. Ride for a while and see your results. Then try mor...

Changing the rollers did nothing for my 220i. That was a waste of time and money for me and some others here i've read. Mine runs great anyway.

The Blur looks like a lot of fun. Truth, its 10 times better when your riding it and looking at it in your garage. The smiles just get bigger every day.

You cant compare a scooter to a motorcycle. I could never enjoy a motorcycle in the city. I dont want to shift, ever, and I need the space under the seat for my stuff and purchases. Im 5' 10'' and fit fine. My pants length is 34''.

It should be fine for you. Plenty of power for more weight. I've owned dirt bikes, big bikes and 50cc scooters. This is my favorite. Its a good compromise. I could never go back to shifting or give up the under seat storage.

Rear brake squeak and howling fix

Heres the fix for this. It worked like magic for me on my new Blur that had it real bad. Get some thin tin at the hardware store. Cut pieces the size of the top half of your rear brake pads. Super glue them to the top half of the back of the pads, apply brake paste to them and reinstall. Noise gone....

Bought a 2013 Blur

Well last week I gave up my tricked out Aprilia Sr70 for a White 2013 Blur. I have zero buyers remorse. The Blur is exactly what I was after. Its 100 lb's heavier and feels so much more stable than the Aprila. It's not really any faster till you get to about 40 to 50 I'm guessing. The comfort level ...
