Skoots Kabootz; I agree with the others who think it is air box related – check the snorkel attachment at the rear of the box, the intake snakes around the outside of the pet carrier the opening is at the rear of the scoot opposite side of the box, any break in that channel may also cause a problem....

I shouldn’t say this, but, I have never changed the crush washer on the oil drain plug. The scooter has 14,000 miles on it with many oil changes, it doesn’t leak.

Never too cold!
Anything below 40°F degrees makes me question leaving on the scooter though in the mornings it gets into the 20’s, then the sun comes out and all is good, cloudy I wimp out, tomorrow will be a high of 14°F – no scooter for me.
Next ride on the scooter will not be for at least a week.

Back in Sept 09 I wasn’t very happy with the OEM stems and got the Honda Gold Wing stems; the Honda stems still look new today. I tried the o-ringed stems and none I tried would fit the Buddy rim because of the reinforcement around the stem hole, there wasn’t enough thread on the stem to cinch down ...
