noise...

This noise is all the time , even with no load. It sounds like a rod bearing or crank noise. Waiting to here from Genuine's Tech to get back to my dealer. By the way it's not MY car in the crash, It was a Ferrari ENZO crashed at VERY HIGH SPEED. -Kevin

I,m getting just shy of 90 mpg when all the math works out.

Blaine, I think I win a cookie,the car in the background in the garage is a 365GTB4 Daytona Coupe (Ferrari). 6x2bbl. Weber DCNF Carbs, 365cc per cylinder, 60 deg v-12 with 2 distributors with 2 points each (if it is a US car). -Kevin

I did a valve adjustment, intake .001" loose , exhaust .001" tight nothing to cause a noise. I also took the variator pulley off to eliminate any trans or belt drive noise. Neither made any difference. The dealer is waiting for a call from Genuine Tech. Department. I hope it's a engine swa...

I found the stock 120/60x13 Maxxis tire from the dealer (Philadelphia Scooters) from Genuine. I didn't buy it though, because it was some crazy price. -Kevin ps: have a little past 4000 km (bdus) and tires still look good, so no need for tires yet.

I think going from 120/60x13 front& 130/60x13 rear to a 130/60x13 front & 140/60x13 rear would be a good idea. Several tire manufacturers have matching sizes. I also checked a tire spec chart and it says that for the 130 fronts rims from 3-4" are ok (ours are 3.0") and for 140 rear...

I have a 2006 Blur with 3000 miles and have gotten up to 72 indicated with no headwind and good weather (60 clear). The only change SO FAR, are Dr. Pulley 15g sliding weights. I like to cruise on the highway at 60-65 indicated as the rpms are not through the roof. -Kevin

I am guessing you might have had the charger on high and the voltage surge was just too much for a delicate lcd device to take. Any time you hook a charger up, you want to make sure it is off first and then bring the amps up slowly. Good luck...-Kevin

I have an MRP exhaust, but it hasn't made it's way onto my Blur yet. I welded an Oxygen sensor fitting into the headpipe so I can check the voltage from the sensor to jet the carb properly. I will post info when I get this done.-Kevin

Hey , how about 130/60-13 in front and 140/60-13 in the rear? The G-Max 250 uses a 140/60-13 in the rear stock, so I would think it must fit. This at least would keep the balance of 10mm wider tire at the rear. I don't know if the G-Max 250 uses a wider wheel though. -Kevin

The weights and Blur were never touched, brand new scooter bought from dealer. If you look on the G-MAX 150 parts diagram the listed weights are 13gram. I highly doubt that they would have changed the weights just for Genuine. It is possible however, that the 2007 Blur or G-Max 150 has 14gram weight...

Just an update to my post... Full throttle rpm was 8500rpm with the stock 13gram weights. Now it is 7800rpm with the Dr.Pulley 15gram weights. According to the G-MAX service manual, the G-Max 150 puts out 10.3 hp@7250 rpm and 7.8ft. lbs. torque @6250 rpm. -Kevin

Check with your local dealer on the price. Genuine is/was offering BIG discounts to it's dealers for 2006 BLUR 150s. I don't know about the 2007s. You may be able to get one alot quicker than you think! -Kevin
