Does it actually have a full mark? I just fill until I get it to where the x’s Stop
By the way I also pulled my air filter and when I replaced it I just noticed I caught that down tube right behind it in the air filter. I fixed that removed about 10 cc of oil and now it’s running.

won't run after oil change
I just changed my oil at 8800 miles on my 2018 buddy 125 no different then previous oil changes except I decided not to change the oil filter. It started fine and went about a couple of blocks but then died and won't start. I know that to much oil is bad but the dip stick shows right up on the top a...

I recently went down with my scoot and one of the riders with me blamed it on my 10 inch wheels. I ride a 125 and have ridden over 7k miles in the last 2 years and never even thought that was an issue. But after some investigation I found that there does seem to be some co relationship to that idea....

Thanks for advise I have looked at several YouTube videos and the biggest concern seems the scratch marks etc done to the wheel. Never thought about going to a trailer repair place. That is good idea! I’ve watched the videos posted here on wheel removal and it doesn’t look to bad. I’m going to...

Tire removal
I’ve had my buddy 125 for almost 2 years and over 7000 miles. My mechanic tells me it’s time for tires at a total cost of about $300. Since I’ve been doing most of my own work I’m thinking wrestling 10 inch tires shouldn’t be to bad? Thoughts ideas, suggestions. Anybody use the tire remova...

Since I'm a fairly new rider I've been very wary of street conditions. And I have to echo what ucandoit says, that even when the pavement looks fine I'm found slippery conditions. Another thing that my mechanic explained to me is that the rear brake is drum while the front is disc and its a little t...

I was pretty amazed to see how this discussion went from high mileage, to inaccurate speedometers, to engine repair.... But, my scooter just turned over 1k and thought I'd verify speed and mileage. And as posted earlier yup speed is off by about 5 mph. and millage right at 9.8% inaccurate. So, shoul...

Well, I have to say I've already noticed some things that I'm losing out on. Like not being able to listen to music while on my way to work (I tried ear buds to my iPhone, couldn't hear it). I have to drive into the sun in the a.m. and the sun is blinding and no visor to pull down to shade my eyes. ...

I read the thread that you posted and it was quit interesting. The thing that jumps out is the overall maintenance for a scooter. A rear tire replacement every 6k - 8k miles? that seems unbelievable, when you consider that tires on my car last between 40k - 50k miles. The shop where I bought my budd...

life expectancy
Hey All, I'm a fairly new scooter owner and have been perusing the internet for as many articles as I can about scooters, commuting, care of my scooter, best scooter to own... (you get the picture). I ran across and article that says, that there is a life expectancy of most transportation vehicles, ...
