Ohh, its not 270cc anymore :P I ran it for the last year or so with that motor, then pulled it apart again. ...

OR and FL had a flat rate of next to nothing, I think, which is why you see so many rentals registered in OR and FL. Actually the fee for motorcycle/scooter registration in OR is $48 for two years (or $96 for 4 years when you purchase a new vehicle). There is an additional $77 fee to transfer the t...

That would be accomplished by using different weights in the variator. Some a wee bit lighter will engage a bit sooner. However (there's always a however), you MAY see a slight decrease in top speed. Some do, some don't. --Keys No it wouldn't. The variator weights have nothing to do with clutch eng...

Well it is my fault probably. I have always imagined portland to be sort of eutopia which would somehow include being overrun with scooters. Silly me. I still think it is an awesome city, the food is tasty and I like the bookstore :) Yeah, its more likely you'll be overrun by bicycles before scoote...

I bought a Bando CDI and coil from autotech355 on ebay after some recommendations by other members. It began to ch...

I can't say for certain in the particular case of the Buddy, but it general the reason that a manufacturer would not use a part rated as high performance is going to be either durability or liability. High performance normally means low longevity or higher failure rate. Either scenario could result...

No, you've got it backwards. The 9mm nut is the locking nut, you adjust the tappet itself from the center.Sparky wrote:...the locking nut is the one in the center that takes a 4mm, while the adjustment is done with the larger nut around the base that takes a 9?

The other thing to worry about is the frame itself, many of those bikes are hardly strong enough to be ridable. My Aunt gave me her Diamo Retro a while back after blowing the motor up at 600 miles, I got it sorta running again but the bike flexes so badly that it was quite scary at even 15 mph. Not ...
