just a note, but in AL they had no road test. Just written.

I was shocked. A 16 yr old kid can buy a crotch rocket take a written test and let loose with no one asking him to do some simple maneuvers. Sounds deadly to me.

My Rat 110 weighs about the same and I have lifted it out of a truck. I weigh about 225 and need another person mainly just to keep it stable. It does risk a mistake of dropping it the more you do it. Something more permanent would be better.

Winter was pretty much Dec and Jan. I am probably weak to the cold, but anything below 45 and I wimp out. :oops:

I am good about cranking the rat every other week to get its juices going. I know that helps because the longer I wait the harder it is to get it started.

I bought mine new a year ago, I have about 1000 miles on it and I have had to adjust nothing. It sat unused in the garage for the winter mos, cranked up fine and runs like a dream for the past month.

I can't say exactly what I am getting, I usually fill it up with my stored lawn mower gas. But I will say I am NOT getting 70 mpg. I would say closer to 55 is probably what I am seeing.

I was expecting higher, but mine is recreational anyway and not a commuter, so I have not been that concerned.

It outlines the impact points by percentage from accidents....so for example 19.4% of people get hit in the left chin when they wreck.

So when you look at it it is illustrating something like 1/3 of accidents damage the chin area.

I know cars usually have a bad vibration at about 60mph if the tires are unbalanced. Then it goes away if you can go faster. I wonder if the scooter tires suffer from something similar. I have read that scooter tires do not need balancing, but I am saying.

I tried following instructions, but they did not work for me. I don't know if they lock it somehow. I wish we could calibrate it, I don't mind the 10% difference, but I would like to know and not do the math all the time.
