Don't know how many responses you're going to get. I never asked ScootOver how many they've sold so far, but there was only one Buddy at the Flagstaff rally a little while ago (hey Keys). I really notice scooters when I see them, but I haven't seen a Buddy on the road. I know there's a lady in my ar...

According to my state's motorcycle manual (I'm studying up for my permit), most accidents happen under 35MPH and less than 10 minutes from home. No such thing as too safe. Believe me, an armored jacket and full-faced helmet do not look strange on a buddy. Granted, even I care about looking good, so ...

It's not a lock, but this ghetto GPS rig should give you some peace of mind.

I would almost prefer something like "Got Fuel?" as opposed to "Got Gas?" When I get gas, I get all crampy and smelly. Other possibilities: "Got Scooter?" "eee eeeEEE EEE EEEeee eee" (Orange) "Orange You Happy For Me?" (Cream) "Creme-De-La-Creme...

Helmet sizes

Well, I went to the store and tried on some Exo-700s. I discovered that my head is big. XL, to be exact. I can wear an L, but it's pretty snug. I really should swallow my pride and buy the XL, but it would be easier if I knew I'm not the only one riding around like Marvin the Martian. What size helm...

GatsbyGirl, thank you so much for that thoughtful and wise response. I can tell why ericalm had nothing but getting home to you on his mind when he crashed.

Posts about serious accidents have spurted this week. A lot of experienced people, too. Honestly, it makes me wonder how much I really need to get into this world--exciting and fun as it is. Although I fancy myself an excellent driver, and very cautious, still there are doubts. I like to read posts ...

Another future Buddy owner.

Name's Jeff. I'm a 5th year seminarian, to be a priest in the Diocese of Tucson.

Is it me, or is AZ a major scootering hub?

I would've thought "cream" was the fastest. You know, because it's cream. Cream makes things slippery. Thus, lower friction. Like greased lightning!

Actually, this is a question of mine as well, though I might be thinking of something slightly different. Is it possible to attach a mini-trailer to the back of the Buddy? Are there such trailers made which don't cost as much as the Buddy itself?
