Has anyone changed the front pads yet? I am at 9500 and curious as to how long the pads will last. They seem fine at the moment(very squeaky, but they have always been that way).

I change mine every 4k. The manual says to check it every 3750 miles. My first one looked pretty bad at 4k so I will change it every 4k from this point on. You can also clean out the inside of the case while you are there.

IMHO, the Blur motor normally runs rough at idle. Mine has always been rough(~10k on the clock now). If you want to feel something smooth in a similar size, try a Vespa 200GT.

A huge factor should be the ride characteristics. At 63 you may need a smoother ride. The Blur is very firm riding especially over bumps. I had a Vespa GT200 for several years and it rides like a luxury car in comparison. The engine is also much smoother on the Vespa. I would certainly not buy befor...

Mine will also randomly stall while sitting at a light. Luckily it has not happened while I was in motion but it is pretty disconcerting to have it cut off. My much cheaper 150cc TGB Laser 150 never had this issue in the over 10k miles I drove it.

It will be interesting to see how that headlight does. The issue I see is the Blurs housing design which has the solid bar down the center of the bulb. I don't understand why they did that. They should have put two bulbs in there.

Completely concur with the above poster as I had a similar situation. Batteries don't last long on the SS220i. I am on my third already. You can get them for $30 bucks on Amazon.

I love my Blur 220i but Its too light for the highway. I did a long test drove on a new BV350 but it wasn't as much fun as my Blur. If someone gave me the BV and I still had my Blur I would never ride the BV. Really? What about for highway rides? You just said the Blur is too light for the highway....

They did a great job. With not one but two replacements of the rear tire- not a mark on the wheel. I like the look of the 60 series tire better. Now to figure out what to do when the front tire wears out as Michelin doesn't make the Power Pure in 120/60-13. I may have to try a 130/60-13 on it.

That is the place. I do my own fluid changes and they have a great mechanic, Wayne, who does good work and I trust him with my bike. It just annoys me they would make two big errors on this job. I don't know where else I would take the bike though. At least I have some time to think about it.
