Yep. That's right. You need a switch. I wired my underlighting to the charger socket and put a switch in on the top of bin plastic so I could easily flip the switch on and off while it was still concealed. Good luck!

Having a dealer that close can be a good and bad thing. We have one about a mile from us and are on our second pair of scooters plus all the accessories in less than a year. Scooters are addictive!

Congrats! My partner has the St. Tropez as well. He gets a lot of compliments on the color scheme and it looks great with the chrome accessories. He has the crash bars, windshield, and some chrome and black handle bar grips. I bet it would really look nice with the Prima exhaust! Enjoy and ride safe.

It doesn't matter what year it is. As long as he bought it new then is covered for two years from the time of purchase. All 4 buddys we have owned were plagued by bad mirrors which all were replaced under warranty.

Personallyove them. This is my second set. I had black ones on my red buddy and now have chrome ones. They have a wider viewing range even though they are smaller. Plus they stay put once I adjust them.

To me it depends on you own comfort level. Just as if you were in a car and someone was tailgating you. If you are nervous or tense then you are more likely to have an accident. Remember though that we are the smallest on the road and rather it's right or wrong, we just can't win against a car.

You can get good commercial grade vinyl at any shop that makes signs. You just need scrap pieces to put behind the lens so it should't cost much. I think I paid $10 for a piece. I think the stuff the sign shops use is much more reflective than the stuff you get in the hardware store.

I added LEDs to my scooter a few months ago and got some from Autozone that were cheaper then this plus they had the double sided tape allready installed. I got a set of 6 inch and a set of 12 inch and it was less than $40 dollars. The wired were long enough to run to the front of the bike as well.
