Yep, escaped the frigid icebox of Pa before the polar blast and staying south til mid-/March. H. I. is our favorite but also like your James Island! No experience with a 170i but with a good battery my Ms Gilly starts promptly no matter the weather. Warm up is generally quick and once throttle is la...

Hello, and welcome! If this is her first PTW you might want to encourage her to take a Motorcycle Safety course. Invaluable information and confidence to be gained. Hopefully your state allows it to be done on a scooter, like here in PA, though it may require her to ride a scooter of 100cc's or grea...

KYMCO plastic freebie- Gone
If anybody knows anyone with a KYMCO GrandVista in need of a replacement left side skirt, we've got a freebie. Bought it and never installed it and now the scoot is toast. Husband replaced it with a Downtown 300i. The cost of shipping is all we're asking so pass info along if you know anyone with a ...

Very helpful guys, thanks! Wouldn't of thought of matching VIN to the title! I was a complete newby when I bought my 2 y.o. Buddy and only asked to see it ridden up the street and back. I didn't have my permit yet and hubs wasn't even considering scooting at the time. But, it had less then 150 miles...

Not me but my DH did! Last month. 1. Which model and displacement (CCs) scooter was crashed? 2009 KYMCO Grand Vista 250cc 2. Was the crash due to rider error? No. Young woman had a strong hankering for a Wendy burger and whipped a left turn across traffic to enter the lot. Husband was in the oncomin...

A Buddy & a Cadillac
Took Ms Gilly on vacation to Maine. This is the view in Acadia National Park from Cadillac Mountain; where the first light of morning touches the continental U.S. What a beautiful park to ride through! I noticed that scooters could be rented, in Bar Harbor, for folks who couldn't bring their own....

Gift for a scooter lover?
I saw this at "Marshall's" today. If any of you are looking for a birthday gift or early Christmas shopping you might want to check your local Marshall's store. It's priced at $13.99 and made of metal.
