Sounds like something is changing shape once it heats up. I'd ask them to do a compression test with the bike cold, and then another with the engine up to temperature. You're looking for a compression in the 135+ range. If that checks out. In the meantime, take the bypass bolt out of your exhaust (...

Took it to a Genuine Dealer for service. They replaced the seal on the gearbox fixing the leak and they say they cleaned the carb for the acceleration problem. Got it home this afternoon and its still doing the same thing it did before. Starts out great but after it warm's up it bogs down. A chinese...

Lost low end power 2017 Roughhouse.
So I went for a nice 60 mile ride yesterday and other than finding out I have a gearbox seal leaking on the last 5-7 miles of the ride I lost pretty much all my low end power. Give it throttle and she accelerates as slow as a worn out Chinese 4 stroke. Now I took the gearbox apart to make sure the g...

My new 2017 Roughhouse
Picked it up for $1100 from a college kid with 800 miles on it. Needed a couple things but it runs great.
Added a top case, some new mirrors, an LED brake light and a new headlight bulb.

Gifted it to a kid down the street to tinker with. See if he can get it up and running... then today I picked up a 2017 with only 800 miles on it for $1100.NorCalRattler wrote:Well if you decide to part out some things please post up what’s for sale. It was in very rough shape when I bought it and basically everything was broken.

The Roughhouse is getting put to rest for parts.
Ever since it siezed the piston I have been unable to get it running properly again. Granted I bought it with alot of issues I did get a few thousand miles out of it before it finally stopped running right. She will start but after it warms up it bogs down and dies and is hard to start again. Replac...

Re: RH 50cc seat and suspension mod
The Low Profile seat is even thinner than stock. So if its not soft enough for you dont even think about the low profile one. ok well the original seat is only at best 1/2 inch in padding and I am being generous here probably it is less then that so how much worse can it be ? do You own this seat ?...

Yikes.....it shouldn't be possible, if the ignition is working correctly. With the key out, you should have no spark and no power to the starter button. Even kick starting it shouldn't be able to fire it up without a key in the lock, or a messy hotwire. A minute with a screw driver and I can hotwir...

Hey guys. Got a question. Lets say I replace all the lines with clear see through hoses so I can check for air in the oil pump. Alright, so I just tore the head apart and found the culprit. She was still running lean and siezed the piston rings to the piston. She was only making 30psi of compression. I'm thinking you have a bad battery. How old is your battery? Do you live somewhere where it drops to or close to freezing in the Winter? Do you let your scooter sit for long periods (weeks) between rides? Is it parked outside most of the time? Any of these things can reduce the life of a battery. ...

The factory warranty is not void when you de restrict it. Infact they send instructions to their dealerships on how to do it for you. They restrict it out of the factory so that they dont have to pay higher fee's for a faster scooter.
