I think the stock tires were all around good for performance and life, had about 11 or 12k miles on my rear but now have vee and they feel awsome not sure how long they will last though

I ordered a final gear when the other mods were getting done but I was told when it got put in it did not fit right so I still have the stock gear in. I went with what scooterworks recomended for a final drive to start with and I still want to do it, just need to talk to them again and see what fits.

Is there a bigger replacement or a way to get more power to be able to run more electrical stuff? I recall there being stator talk on here before but didn't find any info on this.

I'm sure the buddy seat would hurt after a while to, I did some four hour trips on the buddy and my butt and shoulders were sore. However, for a trip like that it would be worth it

The cost will vary depending on if you do it yourself or have a shop do it (however much they charge per hour) also if the parts are on sale or not. I got most of mine on sale through scooterworks.

I got the 161cc kit and 150 head, prima pipe, ncy clutch and bell, ncy disc, forks, shock and vee ruber tires. already had the dr. pulley variator. Man, the kit and pipe make a world of difference. Going from an indicated 40-65 is a breeze, climbing hills is smoother and better. All around very good...

So has anyone put on the 26mm ncy carb they offer at scooterworks with the 161cc kit? I did a search and found nothing about someone doing it. Sound someone switching to a mikuni carb-24mm-still the same size as the buddy, right?

That does suck, never ordered from them but according to BBB they have an A+ rating. I will have to look at the k413, I would prefer a lot of grip though but with some lasting tread. Hard combo maybe.

I read a gallon of milk weighs 8.6lbs and I am pretty sure I have carried more than that. Arent those the dead blinkers? They are not connected unless you do it yourself by tapping them into something. Someone on here sells an adapter to run them as running lights or blinkers. I have it and love it
