No smoke label on the bottle is just marketing. Run JASO-FD rated oil, and you should see that clear up within a tank or two.

Should you ever need to get the shroud off in the future, I was able to remove mine by disconnecting the rear shock and swinging the engine so that it cleared that crossmember.

You can verify this by spraying starter fluid in the air intake snorkel. If it fires up for a second or two, but then dies, your carb is most likely clogged from sitting.

It is a little backwards, yes. A traditional choke reduces the amount of air available through the carb, whereas this is more of an auto-enrichment system, which increases the amount of fuel available

The Hooligan does have an oil cooler, and it's a proper radiator vs the finned block that the buddy 170 uses. Probably to compensate for it being tucked up into the bodywork.

If the low end is bogging, you may need to adjust the mixture screw (which is conveniently covered from the factory). Set it a little richer, and you should eliminate that bog.

If you put on an aftermarket exhaust, be sure to upjet. The Roughhouse already runs on the hot side, and you don't want to pop that top end.

Yep, that sounds like a leaky diaphragm seal. Try greasing the bead where it's supposed to be sealing, and inspect the diaphragm for cracks/tears.

350km.....now that I look at it would appear the aluminum wheel and rear drum are a single unit integral piece. Manufacture date was July 2018.

Correct, which you should only be seeing every 1k miles. When it rolls back around to 1k, 2k, 3k, that 0 will show up in red. When it does, change your oil.
