Great, inexpensive, idea for keeping rear wheel and tire free of oil. You all know oil and water don't mix.

I also painted my spare to match the scooter. But I ended up mounting it on my rear rack because I couldn't get to fit right where it's supposed to go...Bill

Yes the slight rattle goes away when I pull the clutch lever in. I have no problems up shifting or down. Everything works as it should.
