10th digit of the VIN tells you the year on all vehicles sold in the USA.

Letters not used are Q, O, I Because they can be confused with a zero or a one. (Zero and one are used)

8= 2008
9= 20 ...

I don't think the 2013 is any different from the other years. The exhaust cover sounds like an aftermarket piece. You can look at the vin and figure out what year the scooter is. There is a thread ...

I Traded my Buddy 50 Itaia this weekend.

I replaced it with a Buddy Italia 170i ....Wow.

This engine rocks and the power still surprises and scares me all in one.

I just picked up my new Buddy Italia 50 and I cant seem to figure out how they turn on.
