I think the key is at the lever. Once the cable is connected to the lever have one person manipulate in such a way that you get more slack in the cable at the brake drum.

This isn't mentioned much but like the Buddy speedo is off in the 10-15% range, so is the odometer.

The Buddy 150's are actually 148cc. The VIN plate lists it (mine anyway) as a motor driven cycle.

The Kymco People 150 f'rinstance is 152cc. It's VIN plate lists it as a motorcycle.

SOS pads & a little elbow grease work real good w/residue rinsing right off. Been using them on whitewalls for nearly 50 years with excellent results!
