Similar issue happened on our Buddy 125 year 2008, we got it with about 4500 miles and when it was about 6k miles we realized gear oil had been leaking.

i simply stood on one side and yanked on the other side and spread it out a bit but if it still isnt enough a jack or something along those lines might be in order at that point.

they were too narrow, or at least they seemed to be, but with a little muscle and patience we were able to get it on in about ten minutes...

thanks for the help, i rode it this evening to burn off a little more fuel, put it on the center stand and shook it pretty hard....

no leaking... just need to leave more room from the fuel cap to t ...
