Electric Scooters?
I am starting this topic to see if anyone has heard if there is any scooter/motorcycle electric technologies. I know range is an issue for electric cars, but I am guessing scooter riders may not (on average) regularly go that far from home. This was motivated by all the gas threads over the last few...

I have three cages and a scooter. I bought a 1996 Honda Accord for $4500 3 years ago and it has never given me any problems. It has about 175k miles on it now and going strong. If you are smart you can find something cheap and reliable. People have created an irrational fear about used cars because ...

Its funny how topics become so political so quick. There is no telling where gas will level off. In the 70's when the supply shortages were manipulated, the US controlled the global demand and the prices sunk after supply came back. Now the US makes up like 40% of the market and is less likely to co...

It depends on how may kids.... I have a civic and an accord and if room is important, an accord might be better. With 4 cyl it gets good gas mileage, is roomier and rides better. I do like the Civic's though. This is not brand flame bate either, the Toyota equivalents are good cars as well. The good...

I know a few people with Diesel VW's and they love it. There are lots of choices for cars in that range that are not diesel as well. Civics, Corrolla's, etc all get mid 30's on average mpg. I didn't buy my scooter because of the gas crunch, I just wanted a toy. I drive an accord to work (My wife dri...

rattler 110 and weight
I am getting a rattler 110 soon and I weigh about 225. I am new to scootering and I am wondering how this will affect the top speed of it. Will it mean I can expect a regulated 55 mph top speed, or will it be reduced.
