Any gearheads out there know how to remove the fuel tank cover? I'm trying to replace the left hand side plastic panel, but it's bolted on under the fuel tank cover.

If you're talking about the black panel on the top of the tunnel, then you're going to need to remove the teardrop-shaped ring around the filler cap. The following thread deals with body work removal on the Blurs, and Racenut has a post in there dealing with this very topic:
