|
|
so I noticed my brake fluid is low (I don’t think there is a leak) because i didn’t see any on the floor under my bike. but there is a little squeaking going on when i come to a stop.
I thought I saw a video and tutorial on here a couple years ago on the process of adding brake fluid, i did a search and it only came up with like 6 results (non of them actually covered adding brake fluid, but rather had the words 'brake' and 'fluid' in the threads)
((I have no motorcycle/automotive knowledge)) so i like watching as many 'how to' videos as I can to gain confidence before attempting diy stuff..
Any one wanna help a brotha out???
Thanks in advance

If your fluid is low and there is no leak, its time for pads. Order pads before you take it apart.

I agree... No leak? Not low on fluid.... Your pads are thin . That's probably what's making the noise.
Change your pads and your fluid level will come back up. .. Good luck _________________ J H

.... and then bleed the brake to get fresh fluid in.

I don't bleed the brake after a pad change.. No need to.. Just do not open the fluid system anywhere.... _________________ J H

Ok, come on guys and gals, OP said they have no knowledge, telling him to bleed the brakes or chanes the pads probably doesn't help at all. Anyone have a link to a DIY vid on changes pads, bleeding lines, and adding brake fluid? _________________

Just go to UTube and enter "scooter brake bleed" or "scooter brake pad change".

My brake fluid is low and I came across this, do you guys have any recommendations for front brake pads or are they all pretty much the same? _________________

All the stella models had the same front pads, which is part number C-4721834. You can find them just about anywhere.
