Heres the fix for this. It worked like magic for me on my new Blur that had it real bad. Get some thin tin at the hardware store. Cut pieces the size of the top half of your rear brake pads. Super glue them to the top half of the back of the pads, apply brake paste to them and reinstall. Noise gone. This tilts the pads a hair and changes the pressure dynamic. Its a Volvo and Porsche fix for single piston per pad calipers. Google Volvo cut shims to read more.
