|
|
I've been slowly tweaking things around with my RH50 and thought I'd share my progress so far. The first two photos are most recent. I'll also show what the Rattler bars looked like before I went with the NCY bars.
So far:
Eliminated the long back fender tail
Swapped tail light with R6 led taillight. (has blinkers and tail in one)
Swapped stock tires with Vee Rubber street tires
NCY low down shock in rear
NCY carbon front forks (Also lowered)
Swapped steering stem from Rattler 110
NCY bars
Custom Grips
LED lights below floor board
NCY Supertrans KIT
Dr. Pulley Slider weights
Shortened the side stand to compensate for lowering
In the near future I'm planning:
Custom rims
Colored external hardware
Possibly 8 inch rear wheel stretch
Possibly run a fatty rear wheel set up
I might be forgetting some other small mods I've done or plan to do. _________________ Roughhouse 50: NCY Supertrans, 8 gram Dr. Pulley sliders, Low down shock, eliminated fender and reflectors, Bar end mirror, LED ground effects, Hidden tender port

If anyone wondered how the Rattler bars looked on here I tried it but decided to go a different route. _________________ Roughhouse 50: NCY Supertrans, 8 gram Dr. Pulley sliders, Low down shock, eliminated fender and reflectors, Bar end mirror, LED ground effects, Hidden tender port

Very cool mods. I suppose you could actually put some ape hangars on the RH if you added longer cables. _________________ "It's not WHAT you ride, but THAT you ride" - unknown

Yea it could be done fairly easily. If I did ape hangers I would want longer front forks and a big wheel in the front _________________ Roughhouse 50: NCY Supertrans, 8 gram Dr. Pulley sliders, Low down shock, eliminated fender and reflectors, Bar end mirror, LED ground effects, Hidden tender port

I am trying to do the same thing with an integrated tail light... was it as simple as a remove and plug in job or did you have to do some modifications to the housing or wiring?
Looks great!

You'll need to splice a few wires for the turn signals and brake/running light to all be one unit.

I will keep that in mind thank you - ordering soon!
As far as the handle bars go - how much would you say it would cost to go from stock to having the set up you have? assuming digital readings for MPH/fuel/oil?
