[NBR]Got some new wheels :)
Today I received a call from the shipping company advising me that my new bike will be arriving on March 24th
It is a 2007 Buell Lightning XB12S. It is brand new with 5 miles on the odometer. Here are a few pics.
I cant wait to get my hands on that thing

Vroom! Vroom! I love it. I bet you got a great deal, too. Be sure to tune in the AMA Sport Bike class races where the Buell 1125Rs are racing against the Japanese 600cc bikes.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone!
The Buell arrived today! After a quick once over to make sure things were okee-dokee, I signed the delivery papers and the driver was on his way. As I rolled the bike in the garage, I noticed that the mirrors were a bit loose. Then, as I am turning the bike around i notice that the handlebars are loose! After tightening things up I was ready to crank her up Wouldn't you know, it would not start! It would sputter and spit, miss, choke, cough and everything else under the sun but would not stay running no matter what.
Frustrated, I picked up the phone and called my dealer, who mind you in Jacksonville, FL. I explained to him what was happening and he patched me through to their service department. I explained to the tech exactly what was going on, he chuckled and said: "Ride it like you stole it!" lol, made me think of MikeTapps...lol
Okay, so I get out there and try to ride it around the neighborhood. I am sure the neighbors were pleased with all the coughing and backfiring that was going on. The bike literally sounded like it was running on one cylinder! I figured I would get out on some main roads and open her up. Sure enough, same thing. Sounded horrible and jerked me around something awefull.
As I approached a pretty long and steep hill, I prayed that this thing wouldn't die on me on the way up. So I accelerated smoothly and all of a sudden the bike CAME TO LIFE! It scared the snot out of me! It pulled like a freight train up the hill and whatever it was causing it to act up obviously fixed itself. The bike ran like a thoroughbred! Just to ease my mind I stopped at a local HD/Buell dealer and spoke with a couple Buell techs. They narrowed it down to a fouled plug as the culprit. The more the bike warmed up the more the plug cleaned itself to correct the problem. It runs and idles like a champ!
OMG guys, this thing is incredibly powerful and handles like a dream.
Pictures soon!
