Good weather

I'm in Shoreline Washington, and I must agree! I can't wait to get some riding in. I also have some yard work to do, but I might have to make multiple trips to the nursery!

hmm taxes or riding?

every once in a while my friend and I will swap bikes and go riding, she has a ninja 250, great little bike. I wish my buddy was able to rev up to 12K rpm as well. I met a guy over in los gatos who's put a 250 ninja engine in a fuji rabbit. but don't tell people you heard that from me, i think it's supposed to be unveiled at amerivespa.
Looking for ppl to ride with in LA.

Still waiting here for the weather to get consistently good. Michigan weather is so fickle.....

It was 70 last Friday so I took a short ride after work. Today it was 45 but sunny, so even though I don't really have warm enough gear I took a short ride. Tomorrow we're going to have rain and snow, then accumulating snow Monday and Tuesday.

It was windy here; not much fun for me. When the Goldwing passed me I noticed he was tilted several degrees from the side winds; I wonder what I looked like?

Can you please keep us updated on this? I love our Rabbit but it's slow as molasses and rather frightening to ride in traffic here because it takes sooooooo long to get off the mark. Zero to Sixty in 3 days!

Mid 70's yesterday here in SF so I went riding. For various reasons, I haven't ridden my scoot in almost 4 months so it's just been sitting. The good news is, it just fired up and ran like I rode it last week! :)
Anywhos, perfect riding weather and this was reflected by the number of other scooter riders I saw on the road. Also seen in high numbers, short shorts and tank tops; I love warm weather! 8)

It's been sunny and upper '70s all week and I've been too doped up on cold medicine to go ride. Of course, now that I'm recuperating it's supposed to rain next couple of days.

Unlike you northern folk, if I go for a week without riding I get kind of itchy and irritable from withdrawal.

How does being a half back prevent you from getting sunburn? And which team do you play for? :P

You mean Bblurrrrrrr! That was a warm winter ride for me, hehehe. Then again, I sorta slacked off, I only put 1k on it from Jan (when I rebuilt it) to mid-March.

Here in Michigan we don't call it "freezing cold" unless it's cold enough for water to actually freeze. :P

I'd still prefer the cold. I've learned to dress to keep warm, when it's hot there's only so much to take off!!!

When I was in school years ago in Upstate NY (waay upstate) this time of year, when it got up into the 20's & 30's we went without coats! (yes I was 'young and dumb' then) I remember finishing up a big 'Timber' project, on Easter Sunday, in the woods on snow shoes kneeling down or even digging down in the snow to get to a level 4.5ft high on the trees!!!!

Shouldn't feel guilty for living in a temperate climate. I only feel guilty when I have to waste a perfectly good riding day indoors.

It was mid 40s on my ride in today. It is April, in Houston. Something is wrong with this picture. Granted it didn't stop me from riding, just probably make me not go for an extra ride after work until it warms up again which should happen in a day or two. And yes, I know I'm weak in comparison to you crazy northerners, but it's STILL cold.

It's just blackberry winter. Snowing here in western NC as well.
If it weren't for the cars, I'd have no qualms about going for a ride. Seems like the second it starts snowing here, everyone freaks out and forgets how to drive sensibly.
