Has anybody put a PIAA H6M light in an 06 Buddy?

I bought the halogen recommended for the 06 Buddy from Scooterworks in December, but the low beam just burned out on it. Sounds to me like others experienced the same thing.

I need something else, and I like the additional brightness. I am not totally against spending the extra money for the Xtreme White bulb if it will be OK.

What light bulb base does the 06 Buddy take? If it's the same as the 07+ then that base won't work. Some people have tried the PIAA HS1 and reported some success. I've been thinking about that as well.

The PIAA HS1 is nice... no HID, but much better than stock. Look for my posts when I put it in my Rattler.

I am pretty sure the base is different starting in 07, and the H6M is what fits it.
