Gas Prices
Hi MB's,
Just filled up my Buddy 50....first time in 2011. Our gas here in New Mexico has just gone over 3 bucks...I paid 3.02.9. Total fillup was 2.39.
What prices are you folks paying for gas (regular) these days?

Gas never dipped under $3 here.
According to http://www.losangelesgasprices.com/ , the cheapest in the area right now is $3.16 for Regular. Prices can vary by over a dollar for the same grade of gas depending on neighborhood, intersection, etc. It's insane.
But with tank sizes under 2gal. and Stella mileage over 100MPG, I'm really not sweatin' it. Scooters, FTW.

FTW is right. Just did my taxes for 2010 and my total gasoline expense for 2010.... $243.47. Absolutely amazing. I used to spend that every 2 weeks with my Pathfinder.ericalm wrote:Gas never dipped under $3 here.

$2.99 for Wawa regular here.
I've migrated to Wawa because they don't participate in now commonplace practice of gouging an extra 8 to 10 cents a gallon for credit purchases, even if one uses a company-linked credit card (i.e., a BP card at a BP station).
I realize it's not the station owners fault, but I'll be damned to hell if I'll pay an extra red cent to these parasitic banks and credit card companies. Apparently being able to borrow at virtually 0% and then gouge consumers with rates in excess of 25% isn't enough to support them in the lifestyle to which they've become accustomed.

$3.67 for a gallon of regular in san diego. Having just moved here recently I am not used to paying almost $10 to fill up 2 scoots. But then I put it into perspective. Thankfully we can ride year round or this would be hardship filling the car up. I keep reading articles prices are going to go way up by spring. So hopefully this will provide a much needed boost for our favorite scooter shops.

I paid $3.09 today in the Chicago burbs. But there are projections of $4 gas this year, perhaps as early as this summer, and the potential of $5 gas next year.still shifting wrote:Will we be back to $4.00 a gallon this year? I'm thinking yes... R
