No longer on the fence...!
I dove right in and purchased an orange (I can't call it tangerine) Buddy 125 at 10am this morning--no more flip flopping over the Genuine or the Sachs.
The Buddy is 100 times more comfortable and practical for me than the MadAss. It is a very sturdy little bike.
I'm expecting delivery to my house some time mid week. I am finally so relieved to have made such a satisfying decision.
I'd like to give Steve G. at Scooters Go Green in Boston a huge thanks. He is a really down to earth guy and a great businessman. I recommend his dealership strongly.
I will now add the Buddy 125 to my profile

I actually do like the orange, however, I plan on eventually replacing the color with Black Jack panels. Hell, I'm a former Ruckus and Rattler 110 rider, and was torn between my latest decision between the Buddy and the MadAss.PeterC wrote:Omigod! You bought an ORANGE scooter in Southie? I do love the bike, but feel that appearance-wise, it couldn't hurt to throw some testicles on it

Just had the bike delivered to my house!!! I really love it--much more than I did at the dealer.
Pics will come soon. I ordered a black front fender and lower side panels just to balance out the orange a bit.
I can't ride right now due to New England weather. This weekend, I plan on stripping off the panels and going over each bolt to check for proper torque (My Rattler had loose bolts all over). I'll also take the opportunity to do some proactive corrosion protection with Boeshield T-9.
VERY HAPPY!!!!!!
