The scooter 'name' thread: what's yours?

Post by DirtyRAT »

Ok, after having trolled the forums, it is clear that members have taken to naming their scooters.

Who wouldn't?

I have *yet* to name my Avocado Stella 4T. A few ideas I have:

- Snotgoblin
- Guacamole
- Sigmund (the SeaMonster)
- Kermit (it's not easy, being green...)
- Gumby
- Pernod (similar name suggested Here
- <insert your suggestion here>

Post you scooter name, along with make/model ! This should be fun.

Ciao

The Buddy 50 got the name SheBeast. The sh150i hasn't stumbled into a name yet, maybe once she gets a few thousand miles on her then it'll earn a name. Until the I usually just refer to it as the Honda.

'Mantis' was the first thing that came to mind when I google searched images of your sh150i

I used to have an African Carnivorus Mantis, trust me the sh150i is not nearly as deadly

it's interesting, I love my sh150i, it rides wonderfuly, way more comfortable than the Buddy 50, but the Buddy still has way more charactor. Hence why the Buddy has a name and the the sh150i is still just a number. Although I ride the sh150i way more than I ride the Buddy as its now my main for of transport to work, I can't get rid of the Buddy as it's way more fun to ride when I want to ride just for the hell of it :)

Oh crap...heheh. I did a search for 'scooter name', got zero hits on anything substantial.

Eric, can you lock this thread, and perhaps sticky the above thread for new users, or tards like me? lol

 If Eric locked a thread everytime one of us started a new thread when there was already a similar one then this place would look like a labrinth. I think so long as you try to find an old thread first there's no harm in starting a new one :) Hell I've probably started two threads about the same subject myself, I have very poor short term memory

yeah, like some others. My bikes and cars "earn" their names over time...Sometimes they fall right into it and its just natural. Sometimes it takes time

Like my latest one...My beater 1991 toyota corolla work car..."Franki", cause she is assembled from 3 parts cars.
Speed is only a matter of money...How fast do you want to go?

Don't worry about it! We can start a new thread for scooter names every year or so. I mean, it's pretty annoying when we start a new thread on a subject every few weeks, but the old one is from 2008. :D

I like Sigmund for your Stella! Have you chosen? Maybe it's all the way at the bottom and I haven't checked?
