Pet Names for UR Buddy
I notice on several different threads that some of us have pet names for our Buddys.
Confess what are they?
I haven't had mine long enough to think of one yet. What would you name a red Buddy with a windshield and gets cover with a BBQ grill cover every night ?

I'm not thinking of removing the center stand, just modifying the way it's operated. The nice big extention that makes it easy to put on the stand has almost bounced the back wheel out from under me a couple of times. I can work a little harder to put it on the stand; I'm a grown up.

Yes, that is my scooter.
Yes, I wear a helmet and a FIRSTGEAR armored jacket.
No, I'm not embarrassed to be seen riding it.
Yes, that is an NRA sticker on the fender.

Whenever I've parked mine at a store, I've used the side stand and never had it fall over. Of course, I've only had mine a couple of weeks....sorry but the side stand does not cut it, the one time I used it shortly after I got the buddy..the bike fell over...
Geez, Elm Creek! Ever consider taking a little wider turn? The nice big extention that makes it easy to put on the stand has almost bounced the back wheel out from under me a couple of times.

Yeah, my centerstand has a ton of scrapes on it. Same for the header on the pipe. I guess we can't remove it.Keys wrote:Bite your tongue, Pugbuddy!! The quickness around corners is one of the most appealing aspects of Buddy-ism!!! --Keys
My Buddy is nicknamed Sonny--sunset orange and it was my Dad's nickname--but I rarely use it. I need to start using it more often so it sticks.
You don't wanna get mixed up with a guy like me. I'm a loner Dottie, a REBEL.

My red Buddy is named Liberty and will soon be decked out with patriotic flags, decals, etc. My husband's black Buddy is Bucky and he's going to have the name painted on the side below the seat.

I was just kidding--I swear!Bite your tongue, Pugbuddy!! The quickness around corners is one of the most appealing aspects of Buddy-ism!!! My club-mates were amazed at the degree of lean I can get on the Buddy in the canyons without cracking up.
My sister calls her Buddy "Buddy Dash", but I have yet to come up with a nickname.

When I first got mine last year I used to greet it when I walked into the garage by saying "Hey Boo Boo!" as a nod to the PGO name for it.
Now I usually say "hey Buddy" if I say anything at all. Not really a name so much as a greeting. Mostly my scooter gets called "my scooter" when I refer to it. My wife calls my scooter "your scooter".

That's so cute, I always greet my Buddy when I walk into the garage. However, when I'm talking to my friends or anyone about my scooter, I call it a cooter. I don't know, just something I've always said, even before I owned one. Instead of playing slug bug, we would just yell COOTER whenever we saw someone on a scooter.

It's not the width, it's the speed.pugbuddy wrote: Geez, Elm Creek! Ever consider taking a little wider turn?
