Finally got my new Piaa plasma bulb installed and all I can say is WOW! This baby is really bright. I'm lovin it. Thanks again Skootz for the good info. It took all of about 20 minutes. Great up-grade.
So glad you like it. I can't imagine riding at night with out it now. Funny story, the other night I was following behind a buddy of mine who rides a Vino and sport bikes etc. At the first traffic light stop he turned to me and said "Damn What the hell do you have in that thing?? That light is bright!". Yep. Love my PIAA

Did you aim yours at 25' distance or the 17' distance?
Thanks
They don't flash if I'm courteous and switch to low beam I think I aimed from 17'. I just followed the instructions and marked off in the garage. That was a few years ago so I don't recall the actual distance. I'll check next time I'm out there.
It is a Piaa HS1 super plasma gtx. I was going to order it from Piaa but instead got it from a local cycle dealer and saved on some shipping charges. You'll love it!
Thanks...is there a definate on what bulb is better ...I took mine out tonight and after getting it adjusted to the right height it seems fine to me I think it is stock I bought a 07 italia with 350 miles on it less than a month ago I now have over 700 miles on it. My onlt complaint is not enough suspension travel?

Nope, the '06 uses a different bulb. (18 watt) You'd have to change the entire headset.
