Fishing rod holders

Post by TCaruso »

After an extensive search and some trial and error with certain brands of rod holders. I finally found something that fits on the rear rack, looks good and best of all, it work! It's from a company called All Rite Products. They make a rod holder and mount for ATVs. They can be found on various internet sites.

I'll post some pics soon. It's been raining for days.

that is friggin awesome! And to top it off, you can fit a nice tacklebox tied down to the rack, and a small cooler to the floorboard!

 FLY ROD HOLDER
PARTS:
5 or 6 feet 1 ½ in PVC pipe
1-End cap 1 ½
1- 1 ½ female pipe thread by clip coupling
1- 1 ½ PVC pipe plug
1- Small piece sponge to glue into end cap
2- 1 ½ electrical conduit clips
2- 3/8 x 1 bolts
2- 3/8 by 2 or 3 in carriage bolts
2- Larger finder washers
4- 3/8 wing nuts
pvc glue

Fit sponge into end cap, and glue to pvc pipe. This so rod does not hit end of cap.
Glue adapter to other end of pipe. Do not get glue on threads.
Put shorter bolts inside hole in clips.
Put clips on pipe with longer bolts and 2 wing nuts.
Put bolts through holes in milk crate. With fender washer and wing nuts.
Slide pipe up till you have enough room for your feet, tighten wing nuts.
Boots and Artic creel go in milk crate.
Fishing vest goes under seat.
GO FISHING!!!Image
