Iv keep seeing this and wonder no one has snatched it up, aren't Italian made scoots expensive. The name Piagg sound familiar. Anyone know if these are Vespa like quality scooters normally costing thousands more?
Does this sound/look like a great buy for an Italian scoot

According to Kelly Blue Book, if it is indeed a 2003 Piaggio LT150, Retail value is $1615, Trade in value is $1050, so no, it's not a great deal. Maybe not I-got-screwed-bad, if it really does look and run perfectly.
But. If it is a 2003 Piaggio LT50 or if it really is a Piagg (aka Chinese knock off of the Piaggio LT150) or some such, the you have entered the I-got-screwed zone.

As far as the engine and most components go, if this is a PIAGGIO LT150, it'll be comparable in quality to a Vespa LX. It won't ride the same; this has a plastic body on a tube frame and large wheels.
I'd be dubious of the seller from the start, though.

Well mostly becasue it insures reasonable coherence to the thread for a reasonable amount of time. Nothing more frustrating then to use a link and have the link disabled an hour later before most people had a chance to make sense of the thread. Having said that since the photo of the add is a copy not a link it is going to survive past the add original life and there for privacy is an important in honoring the deletion of this add the information is maintained private even if you paste the add title into CL as you say.Ray Knobs wrote:Curious as to why you redacted all the city and phone info.
When you put the ad title into google the listing pops right up?
