Yes, there's something about the orange Buddys. I've been studying them all day trying to figure out why they have so much more appeal than the others. I just can't quite put my finger on it! I'm going to go look again. Maybe study from a different angle and figure this out.

Yeah, sorry. Sometimes we (I) forget that even meant in fun, it is probably objectionable to some folks.

Thanks for policing this forum, its a good one and y'all do a good job keeping it that way.

Um, folks, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but gmon hasn't posted here since November 2006. This is a really old thread that somebody resurrected.
Who cares! Scroll up and look at the orange buddy.

I know it's an old post, but the guy killed the resale value of his scoot. Who wants to buy it now? It's like taking a new BMW and spray painting it black. Yeh, he's a rebble but very few people are going to think it looks cool.

Hate to tell you this, but scooters and scooter riding are NOT about resale value. They are about fun and enjoyment. If you dig what you've done to your scooter, it was the right thing to do. Frankly, a stock "high resale value" scooter has no personality.

Funny, how did I pick up a scoot for free, spray it flat black and sell it for 300?

Three hundred dollars, exactly my point. Wonder what you would have got if you didn't hit it with a can of black krylon.
