New Kid in Town - Hello Everyone!

Post by IcingPrincess »

I everyone! I just got my new to me (used 2008 with under 1,000 miles) Buddy Thursday (8/18), my temps on Saturday, started riding on Sunday and got my first tag (Worldwide Scooter Tag) today!

My husband was with me (he rides a red Vespa) and took the pictures. I'm excited to be here (and not a cupcake) - but will ride cupcake if it is dark, or a very long ride... still working on stamina - and getting that license.

Hope to learn lots from all of you - and maybe someday - contribute as well.

Keep on scooterin'!

Thanks everybody! I'd LOVE to take the MSF course, however the darned thing is sold out before it opens! THEN, to top it off, a certain age group (ok I'm not of that group) gets preference for walk-ins - even if I'm there first and paying (ugh)... but not to worry, whether I get my license by test or by taking the course - I'll still take the course when I can get in.

Yeah - was nervous, but definitely learning to love my 125! Been a cupcake for far too long I guess...

Pssst! Van Buren, just West of the I-17. Old state cemetery right in the middle of a Catholic-heavy neighbourhood. Amazing place with tons of iconography! Just the place.

Yes, congrats and welcome to the wonderful world of scooting.

What's this that a certain age group gets preference over the "overflow" line? Is it a government run MSF course (public school)? If it is, I'd gently question that policy... as anyone, no matter what their age, can get up early and get in line!
