Finally.... After YEARS of researching and wanting a scooter, I am a proud owner of a new 2010 Stella. Too bad I live in Central PA and have to wait about 5 months to ride.

Five months???
That puts you in June before you first ride! :wha:
No way you'll be able to wait that long.
I live near Harrisburg, 40something degrees right now (11am) I'm riding today........

If it's not snowy or icy, you will want to ride it every so often, put Seafoam in the gas, and maybe even put it on a battery tender. Leaving it sit for 5 months might lead to issues you don't want to deal with -- especially with a new scooter.

Congrats, by the way!

Lol, congrats on the getting the scooter. Even though living in Kansas means horrible winters, usually, this year has been great and I ride at least 4 times a week (fingers crossed).

Friendly advice read as many threads on servicing your scooter, it will help.

I got red. It was the only one they had. It wouldn't have been my first choice but it has definitely grown on me!

The way the not-winter has been going so far this year, I'm expecting his shadow to see him, or some other nonsense.

Congratulations! Stella's are so awesome. I wanted a scooter since I was in high school and it took YEARS for things to finally line up right. Don't think I'll ever own a car again if I can get away with it.

heck Guff...layer up and ride a bit today...gonna be in the mid 50's; congrats on the new scoot...

which dealer did you snag it from? BMA in Bainbridge is sitting on a bunch of 2009 Stella 2T's; I just traded my 2009 Rattler (got it @ BMA in September) on a 2009 Buddy 125 @ BMA; the Buddy is more my style, but the Rattler was a blast while I had it...

Congrats, the red is real nice. I've actually been contemplating a Stella myself but i'd have to get rid of the Buddy 1st and I just don't think i"m ready yet :)

That's right, NOT see his shadow.
I am perfectly happy with the ridiculously mild winter this year, and since I only had a couple weeks with the scoot last season, I'm looking forward to a nice long spring/summer. 8)

Where the Groundhog lives, forecast looks promising that the 'rodent' wont be seeing any shadow...
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... 8.9776&e=0
But then again, he has only something like a 40% 'correct record'

Remember no shadow, he stays out, early spring. Sees a shadow, Phil runs back in, six more weeks of winter......
Either way the Spring Equinox is six and a half weeks after Groundhog Day....

I follow, I was hoping for clouds because he's incorrect 60% of the time! So using that stat we're better off him seeing his shadow and predicting continued winter because he's more often wrong than right :D of course I put no faith in his predictions, but hey
