Diesel anyone?

The Ducati Monster Diesel!!!

I haven't thought of owning a motorcycle in decades. Scooters are just more fun. But based just on the looks of this, I might have to reconsider. Diesel is just a bonus thrown in.

I'd think there'd be some truth-in-advertising or other consumer-protection rules that didn't allow a company to put the brand name "Diesel" on a gasoline-powered vehicle. :?

+1 I got excited there for a moment. I had visions of a motrobike I could run off of french fry oil. I should have known it was too good to be true

Actually there are a number of true diesel motorcycles around. One of the better known, is the diesel model of the KLR650 produced for military use.

Yeah, it bums me out that the Ducati doesn't run on diesel. That would be the clincher for me if it did. Here's another look at the diesel KLR in a different flavor:

And for us CVT fans, Honda's answer to the Aprilia Mana 850, the NC700X:

I would love one of those KLR's with the military look.
