Buddy Ignition Switch assembly

Post by joey.pcv »

Slowing putting my Buddy back together and now that I know it rides ok I need a new ignition switch assembly (since the a-holes that stole it ripped it out and rewired it to start with a kick only, SOP for them). I know I can buy a OEM part but as a grad student I am trying to keep the cost down.

Could anyone direct me to a generic/universal ignition switch that will do the trick for less $? Thanks!

I'm in the same situation. my problem is that my buddy dealer (the only one around) is closed for a couple of months. I've got another shop that may be able to salvage something for me but i can't seem to find the proper ignition switch online anywhere.
any ideas?
