Starter relay location

Post by mukaiboston »

I'm sorry if this is a very basic question, but does anybody know where the starter relay is located on a buddy 50?

I can't find an answer anywhere and the service manual is not helpful. All it shows is a close-up drawing but there is no context on what part of the scooter they are looking at.

under the seat on the right side of the scooter, up against the frame rail. just look for the larger wires.

Hmm, is it accessible from underneath the scoot or am I going to have to remove the seat? I think I see it, but I can't quite reach it from where I am.

Remove the seat bucket. And it's really easy to get to

This is on a 125 but I'll bet it's in the same place on a 50.

Hmm, that photo looks very different from what my engine looks like.

I think I found it. It is a small box with a plug coming out of it.
