Friend of mine just changed oil on her 170 cc buddy. This bike has the remote oil cooler and filter assembly under the bike. Anyway she did not chance filters and simply drained the replaced the oil. She measured .8 quarts and just filled the bike. We went riding and here bike had no power and when I checked the oil it was overfilled and black as coal. My guess is there was a bunch of oil in the oil chiller and filter and when she put .8 quarts it overfilled the bike. My question is if you replace the filter does all the oil come out of the chiller?
If not how do you completely drain the oil?
