Is this info still true? I saw the dealer prep video and it says the 50's are tuned for 89. My dealer said use 93. I don't know what to believe. Lol. I'm hoping 89 is right, because the wawa stations sell non ethanol 89 around here.

Fill up with regular gas. If it knocks due to premature combustion, use next grade up and curse me. I doubt any stock Buddy engine has a compression ratio that requires anything other than regular, i.e. 87 octane.

Oh -- 50cc so 2T -- oil mix may reduce octane so you need mid-grade. Still, mix a batch of regular gas and see how it does.

I haven't seen it mentioned, figured I'd leave it here for informational purposes, but the Kick owners manual and pet carrier sticker specifies 91 octane or higher.
