when did they introduce the brit?!?!?!?!

Post by naptime »

so, I bought my 08 st.tropez as soon as they were introduced. I really wanted an italia or a pamplona, but, hey, the st.tropez was available. so that's what i took.

i rode it like that for a while. but in time, the light blue and lighter blue, really rubbed me the wrong way. so i dissasembled, and painted..

here's my paint thread from back in July of 2009.

here was my starting photo:

so, today I pop onto the genuine site to see if they've added anything new since i last looked back in 09.. and low and behold... they've added a brit..

interesting paint scheme !! royal blue, white, and black.. I want my royalties!! no pun intended. lol

every single panel is the exact same color as what i did. the only difference is that i didn't change my seat or my floor mat.

if they got the idea from me, that's awesome!

if they didn't get the idea from my original thread back in 2009, this is seriously creepy.
