LED flasher with audible click?

Post by scootdad »

Does anyone know of a flasher that will run LED turn signal lamps that will also make the audible click that reminds me to shut it off? I found one that satisfies the former, but not the latter. Someone also mentioned inserting resistors into the line, but that may be above my skill level.

Input is welcome. Thanks,

Bob

That's one of my issues too. Except my relay seems to work with the LED Bulbs from Autozone. They seem brighter too but no clicking.

Finding a loud-enough electronic flasher can be difficult. Maybe just tag on a 12V peizo buzzer between your flasher relay and your signal switch? I have one under the left cowl of my P200 in the circuit between the flasher relay and the lead to the signal switch up front. It's obnoxious enough to hear even when hard on the throttle.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

The Buzzer is a great Idea and a simple one too.
