I just crossed 8000 miles on my 2016 Buddy 10th anniversary 125. I thought it was pretty cool to see those numbers roll across the odometer this week.

I figure after a year and a half, I have saved more money and had way more fun than paying for a car over the same time period.

Congrats! Keep the maintenance up and you might be able to do it 5 more times.

Not bad at all paracer! You got a lot off SPG's (Smiles-Per-Gallon) instead being in a boring cage. Of all the scooters I have owned, the Buddy was my all time favorite. Wait till you hit the 10,000 mile mark! Then it becomes a challenge to see how many more miles you can put on it!

Just keep riding!

We are a little over 10,000 miles on our 2014 and have two other 2014's that are still working on hitting 10,000 miles.

Both my wife and I have ridden 150's close to 20,000 miles before trading them for the 170's we now ride. Keep up the maintenance and you will get plenty worry free miles out of your scooter.

I'm just about at 18k on my 150. At 20k he'll get an overhaul, but there's no indication other than tires/other consumables that there's an issue. Shoudl be ready to go another 20k

I love hearing that these things can go many many miles. I'm so used to craigslist ads that say "LOW MILES" and "just needs rebuild" in the same ad, like that isn't a warning sign (usually on china scoots). Nearly at 2200 miles on my kick, hoping for ten times that, minimum.

6,600 miles on my '16.
What really surprises me about this 170i is how clean the oil stays. Between the oil cooler and well seated rings, the oil lasts beyond the standard oil change intervals. I'm going for 2,400 miles this cycle and the oil will likely still not need changing. Using Red Line Synthetic motorcycle oil.
Plan to change the oil at 7,000 and the next service including belt, etc. at 9,000 to 10,000 miles. Quality scoot'.
