Modern Buddy

I noticed this tube sticking out by the rear wheel today. I followed it up and it comes out of the top of the gas tank. Some sort of vent or overflow? Is it supposed o be connected to something? It’s got a clip at the end of it like it is supposed to be hooked onto something. Thanks for any input.

That's interesting. Looks to be a vent for the gas tank. My 2008 Buddy 150 doesn't have that.
