Ignition turning off when my knee hits my keys

Hello,
There have been a couple instances when, while I'm riding, my knee hits my keys and turns off the ignition/engine. Anyone else run into this? I just got my Buddy about a month and a half ago and, luckily, have just been learning to ride in a parking lot when this has happened.
I plan to take it in to get a tire change in the next few weeks and would ask about this ignition thing then.
Thanks!

Nope, never had this problem - my knees are too short...
Although, I've bent the key on my Blur from kicking it when I get on the scoot.

I suggest sliding further back on your seat. Unless you have Tyrannosaurus Rex arms and legs, you should be fine with that solution.

I've definitely thought about this, never had it happen though. Either sit back further, as suggested, or splay your legs out wide so your knees are nearly handlebar width. Proooobably not super safe, but neither is your engine turning of at speed.

Thanks, everyone! I will sit farther back, but still feel like I should figure out whether it's a mechanical problem.
