Excessive White Smoke

I have a 2009 Buddy 50 that despite my having changed out the oil for better quality synthetic is still smoking excessively. Any ideas? I thought about looking for instructions on how to adjust the oil pump but can’t seem to find any. I’m planning on selling it so I don’t want to disable it and mix my own gas.

Is it still smoking after you ride four miles at wide open throttle, or are you talking about it smoking for a few minutes or so after startup?

It could still be burning out the residue in the exhaust pipe left from the old oil. Might be awhile before it clears up, depending on your riding habits
