Modern Buddy

I know some Honda motorcycles I’ve worked on Will not run correctly without the stock airbox. What a buddy 50 2 stroke Work with a pod type filter or do you have to use the stock airbox?

They are designed to work with the stock airbox inasmuch as the carburetor is jetted for that specific amount of airflow. If you go with a pod filter, in addition to a whole lot more noise, you're going to need to upjet slightly on the carb.
