Modern Buddy

My exhaust looks like it never had a cover.... I just ordered the missing plastic cover and mounting screws. Is there some other piece I need. The schematics seem to show a "inside shield" but its not clear how it goes.
If I just bolt the plastic to the muffler with the heat washers....seems like it would get hot and melt ?

Can someone share a picture of their proper set up ?

I don't have a 50 but the pictures I've seen show at least two different muffler shields and neither one looks like there's anything behind it. If it makes you feel any better, the plastic shields on both my Buddy and Blur have not had any melting issues.
