2004 Reflex NO spark.

Greetings All: I have just jumped into the Reflex owners club, the I drove for years a cheap POS from accross the pacific, I got from a guy that lost his license after getting super drunk and evidently fleeing in an extended ride. I have now got this Reflex, have been going through it, it has a carburator thorttle positionn sensor, and evidently a computer? I kick up the kickstand, pull the brake levers push the starter button,engine spins over, but upon further checking there is no spark, normally I would think it is hall effect sensor or coil, I cant afford the 85.00 for the manual yet, so I thought I would ask.
